EDM Network's Wire EDM Targets 3D Printed Mold Component Removal?

The TungForce-Rec series presented by Tungaloy America at IMTS booth #481580 is a versatile shoulder milling cutter featuring V-shaped inserts and positioning on the cutter that enables wider inserts, and thus a higher contact area. The new miniature tool’s clamping system is said to offer exceptional stability when machining small pockets and slots, and is highly rigid, a key benefit for mold manufacturing. Three insert sizes — 04, 06 and 12 —  are available for small-diameter cutters covering a wide application range, APMT Insert including water jacket machining and mold wall finishes.

Tungaloy has added eight coarse pitch cutters to its TungForce-Rec 12 square shoulder milling cutter line. Featuring rigid cutter bodies, the cutter line is said to provide high machining efficiency for square shoulder milling operations. The new cutters are offered in imperial sizes.

In general shoulder milling operations, tool rigidity plays a critical role in achieving close tolerances and part consistency, Tungaloy notes. To adhere to this, the company’s coarse pitch cutters retain a prominent feature that provides maximum tool rigidity during demanding operations. In addition, flutes on the cutter body are designed with large chip space to promote smooth evacuation, preventing chips from clogging during operations. TungForce-Rec 12 coarse Carbide Threading Inserts pitch cutters reportedly ensure tool reliability and process security, enabling chatter-free, stable machining.

Ultimately, Tungaloy says the TungForce-Rec 12 series enables excellent wall straightness while taking multiple passes.

Popularity of Tungsten Jewelry

Aluminum metal looks like white and silvery in color. Value of Aluminum goes up due to its properties. This metal is well-used as the low-density and corrosion resistant substance. This corrosion resistance property is seen in this metal due to the layer of aluminum oxide formed on the surface of the metal while it is open to air. This metal does not get dissolved Carbide Insert for Cast Iron in alcohol. It is also non-sparkling and non-magnetic in nature. Origin of Aluminum is from the principle ore, Bauxite. This metal is mined from the Bauxite with the help of open-cut techniques. With the help of Bayer process, Bauxite is purified.

In any industry, this metal is used as it has a light weight property. Aluminum is not only popular metal in the industry but also its use is very wide in domestic font. The use of this metal is wide for its versatile property. Due to its properties like good thermal and electrical conductivity, high reflectivity, lightness, tensile strength, malleability, it can be used for buildings, aircrafts, electric wires, food storage containers, and also in other places also.

Due to its malleable property, it is fabricated into aluminum sheet. This plate can be used as rods, wires, tubes, foils, shapes. Depending upon the different level of thickness, this aluminum sheet is used in different commercial and domestic purpose. In extreme temperature, these sheets do not get worse. Moreover, this kind of aluminum plate can be reused. Due to its properties, it can be used in stoves, lighting equipment, wave guides, and infrared dryers. Due to its reflecting property, it can be used as an insulator of heat and light in any building.

But cutting aluminum sheet can be very dangerous or little tricky if you do not know the proper technique. Cutting sheet with the combination of jig saw and file could be better where file would work on the edge cleaning. A wood saw with Cutting Tool Inserts the hack saw blade at its edge can be another option.

You can use drop saw with fine saw blade for cutting aluminum plate. Fast rotary saw with tungsten carbide tipped blade would be highly effective in case of cutting aluminum plate. Avoid using angle grinder, which can toughen the edge of the sheet and also can damage the aluminum. Do not forget to wear gloves and sun-glasses; as during work, shards can harm you. Carpenter saw is also good for cutting sheets.
